Warm up your wrap of choice and begin layering your creation with a generous spread of raita yogurt sauce as the base. Add a layer of lettuce leaves, then sprinkle on some pickled onions and sliced avocado. Finally, place your bean bites on top of these luscious ingredients and wrap her up! Enjoy every bite.

- Indian Inspired Bean Bites - For a spectacular plant-based protein.
- Wholemeal Wrap – Or a Flat Bread. You could even use a naan bread if you're feeling really inspired. Let me know how it goes if you do!
- Lettuce Leaves - I used butter leaf lettuce here.
- Picked Red Onion - Or any onion of choice- I also like a crunchy red onion.
- Avocado– Slices of avocado are optional but I enjoy the extra nutrition.
- Salt and Pepper - Is optional.
- Raita Yogurt Sauce - There are many variations of this sauce, but here’s my favourite recipe using all fresh ingredients:
- 25g of mint
- 25g of coriander
- Thumb-sized piece of ginger (grated)
- 1 clove of garlic (crushed)
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon (squeezed)
- 2-3 tablespoons of water
Blitz all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. This sauce will stay fresh for several days if stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
