Mexican Style Bean Burger - For a delicious plant-based protein.
- Toasted Bun – We have used a brioche bun here but I love a wholemeal pita also.
- Crispy Lettuce- I have used a crispy Italian style lettuce here but peppery rocket is also a win.
- Red Onion - Thin slices of crisp red onion are a must!
- Cherry Tomatoes – I love their sweet flavour but a large thinly sliced tomato works really well too.
- Avocado - smashed or sliced, whatever works for you! I have smashed mine in this recipe.
- Cheese – Is optional, but I ALWAYS have it.
- Siracha Mayo- This combo was a huge hit in the USA so we have taken it with us. Just simply mix Siracha sauce and your fav mayo together in a dish...and there you have it!
